GENERAL

Cornhole boards are placed 8 meters apart.
The leading edge of the cornhole board is the fault line.
The game is played up to 21 points.
The first team to reach (or exceed) that number at the end of a turn, with a difference of 2 points, is the winner.

CORNHOLE GAME

1 on 1 Players take turns throwing a bag until each player has thrown all 4 bags.

A player throws from behind the foul line and may not cross the foul line with the foot (s) before
the bag has landed.

Turn: A turn is when both players have already thrown their 4 bags from one board to the other. All four bags must be thrown from the same side of the board.

A player who has won the previous turn must roll the first roll of the next turn. If neither team has won in a turn, the team that first pitched in the previous turn will also keep the first throw in the next turn.

2 against 2 The players of one team face each other, so there is no need to walk back and forth. One player throws all four bags while the other waits until the player’s turn ends. The result of this turn also determines which team can start the next turn.

CORNHOLE COUNTING

Woody (1 point): every cornhole bag that has been thrown and remains on the cornhole board at the end of a complete turn.

Cornhole (3 points): every cornhole bag that is thrown and completely disappears into the cornhole hole at any time in turn.

Settled method:

Points are calculated per complete turn using a settled method.

These points are added to the total per round.

Example:

Team A total: 1 woody + 2 cornholes = 7 points

Team B total: 2 woodies + 0 cornholes = 2 points

Team A scores 5 points for this turn.

Invalid bags:

Refers to any cornhole bag that is not “woody” or “cornhole”. Bags that touch the ground before reaching the board. Bags thrown by a player from beyond the foul line are also invalid. An invalid bag that lands on or against the board must be removed and does not count towards the score.
